FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an image to prompt generator?
It analyzes the visible details in a reference image and converts them into text instructions you can use with AI image generators.
Is the image to prompt tool free?
Yes. Visitors get a one-time three-image trial per browser, and new accounts receive five permanent registration credits once. One image uses one credit while generating all six prompt formats. Free credits do not renew daily.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required for the one-time three-image trial in your browser. Creating an account adds History, saved edits, and five permanent registration credits once. The trial does not reset daily.
Which AI image models are supported?
Each analysis creates General, Midjourney, FLUX, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT Image, and Nano Banana prompt versions.
Can I upload an image using a URL?
Yes. Paste or drag a publicly accessible image URL, or upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file from your device.
How accurate is an image to prompt result?
Accuracy depends on how clear and detailed the reference is. The image to prompt analyzer identifies visible subjects, composition, lighting, colors, perspective, materials, style, and mood, but it does not recover a hidden original prompt or guarantee an identical generated image. Treat the result as a detailed, editable reconstruction of the visual evidence.
Can image to prompt preserve composition and lighting?
Yes. The analysis describes subject placement, framing, viewpoint, depth, light direction, softness, contrast, and color relationships. Including those details gives the destination image model clearer guidance, although the final composition can still vary because every AI generator interprets prompts differently.
Does image to prompt read real camera metadata?
No. Camera language shown in the visual deconstruction is inferred from the appearance of the image, not extracted from EXIF metadata. Terms such as top-down view, shallow depth of field, or an 85 mm product look describe the visible result and should not be treated as verified capture settings.
Can I edit the generated result?
Yes. You can edit generated prompt text before copying it. Signed-in users can also save those edits in History, making it easier to refine a reference over time or keep several model-specific directions connected to the same analyzed image.
Can I use the generated text commercially?
You can use the generated text in personal or commercial creative workflows, subject to the rights attached to the reference image and the terms of the destination AI platform. Only upload images you are authorized to use, and review the output before relying on it for client or production work.
